Button Button……..

ButtonCollection2 Jan08ButtonCollectionJan08…..who’s got the buttons……OK, this is only the tip of my button iceberg here! The WS Button Dollz challenge got me digging for buttons. I ended up sorting a lot of them by color. Now you would get a laugh at this if you saw my art room. Its such fun having them in jars where you can see them, they look like candy! ButtonCollection3 Jan08I even have a big Mason jar with a lamp lid attachment and that is filled with buttons as well! Yes, I do and have loved buttons for a long time now. Generous people have shared buttons with me. Just recently a good friend, Judy W. gave me her mother in laws button tin (it was actually her sweet husband, Richard’s, idea). Isn’t it lovely with the white lotus on the top.ButtonLampButtonCollection4 Jan08Looking thru buttons lead me to some African looking beads which sparked my art doll idea.     Now we know who has the buttons! The answer to an age-old question. I loved looking at all the different jars with their treasure trove inside. What a lovely collection you have going and to think you are using them in such wonderful and creative ways. Remind me to show you my button bracelet sometime, all antique buttons in off-white which I just love.
