This is my first visit to your blog and I am truly amazed at your talent and diversity of media at which you excel. I loved reading about weaving the lavender. I’d be interested in finding out what variety of lavender you grow so that perhaps I can grow some in a few pots on my balcony here in Winnipeg. Congratulations on the 300th! 300! Wow! BTW I used to live in Alexandria VA and I feel like I get to keep up with the region through your blog. You mentioned Occoquan in a later post – I bought my wedding cake through a baker in Occoquan! It was super yummy.
