This is a small journal I’ve been working on. A while back I had glued groups of pages together. That makes it nice for coming in and painting backgrounds as I did today. I also spray painted two pages gold. I find it helpful to wrap the pages that aren’t getting painted in aluminum foil to help keep those pages paint free. Plastic wrap would work too.

I used inks, gesso, goauche, pattern tissue, tuille, rubber stamps and bits of book pages to create these pages. I also like using a chalk pencil to highlight some things in white.
Jean, I was thinking of you when I created these pages……..and sending all good wishes your way.
