I thought you all would be interested in this beautiful necklace that was published in Belle Armoire! I was very touched by this art from the heart project.
Peggy Gatto, along with ten art friends each created charms and Peggy put them together with various beads. The necklace was sent to Belle Armoire for a charm challenge called “Friends Thru Art”. If you click on Peggy’s Mixed Up Art blog you can find out more about it.
Peggy had a dear friend of 35+ years who died last summer of ovarian cancer. The artists who helped Peggy with the necklace graciously agreed to allow her to donate the necklace for auction to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research. Her friend, Michelle, was kind enough to post all of the information on her ebay site. So be sure and stop by and bid if you are so inclined. It’s for a very good cause and in memory of someone special. Bidding closes on 24 July.
