you’ve seen the before pictures…
after being under blue Virginia skies
stormy winds… lots of rain
and some snow
one bundle joined the second bundle with hardly any traces of orange lantern remaining, still drying out
visit Seth at The Altered Page
to check the list of “after” participants on his sidebar
there will be continuous updates
this project really has taken on a life of it’s own, Seth imagined it and made it a reality far and wide
123 participating artists
little did we know when we created our bundles what we might actually do with them afterwards
everyone was SO excited……well…… just because it was such a darn cool concept!
artwork using what nature has disintegrated will be revealed in August….the 123 “DisCo” adventure continues
***Many Thanks Seth***
~2 May update, look what else I found in my bundles
I had rolled up a photo of our garden and some neat bits of tissue papers, as things dry out I am able to dig deeper

Love the rust but best of all is the ‘No worries’ card – so cool.
Thanks for the comment too.
xo
People who put little pieces of metal in their bundles seemed to have better artsy results!!! Love the star!!! Can’t wait to see what YOU do with this!!!
Patty,
These are wonderful. I didn’t have the imagination you had. I got into the project late and didn’t realize I should have used materials other than just paper. Your pieces are fantastic and I know you will use them to make fantastic artwork with them.
The star print is great. Looks like the papers are nicely weathered too.
Just love that star and the effect it has on the scene. Really neat, you all are so creative.
mother nature had a beautiful effect mingling all your elements gently into a new life…
which happens to us when we’re OUT THERE experiencing the elements, too.
and this project gave me good reasons to dig around in heavy snow this winter! had to check on the bundles!
I love the rust parts. I am going to duplicate it. I have a bucket of rusted horseshoes.
coool!!
Just so beautiful – and I see (what I know of) your personality woven all through this – it just looks so feminine
…. I especially love the imprinted star – like a shadow – very ccol!
This looks great, love the imprints.
Wow yours is looking good Patty, I love the rusty star. Maybe I should have buried mine. Thanks for commenting too.
I did a work almost 20 years ago that I called a self portrait “magpie woman” and it always interesting fun to glance at another’s images and your design elements are so wonderful now and will grow more powerful in time. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
How wonderful all the bleeds are onto your pages! Absolutely LOVE it. Nice job!
