For this week’s Wednesday Stamper challenge, I chose “Country Flag Colors” as the theme, creating what you wish using your national flag colors, along with using at least one rubber stamp
here is my red, white and blue for the U S of A
I began with some water color paper that ended up in a little different (for me) arch shape, the unmounted Layers of Color stamp has such a great design to it, I kept stamping on my painted background with black Versafine ink
I almost didn’t want to cover it up…..brainstorming with my son… he had the brilliant idea of using the Liberty Bell for a skirt, perfect for the lady image

loved the background! I wouldn’t want to cover that either. And your son had a great idea! is he home for summer?
also, isn’t it fun that my flag has the same colors as yours? actually, it looks just like the Texas flag, with a minor difference, lol : )

Hi, Patty,
Trying desperately to catch up after coming back from France — it’s hard to do! Looking at all your posts, probably not commenting on everything right now till I’m back in the groove. But I really love this (and your process explanation) and also your arch below!
Thanks for your comments, too, and visiting!

Patty – what Jeanie said!! Love the shape of your piece and that stamp is brilliant for making backgrounds. We had a lot of rain today and some of the smaller villages flooded… I live in an extreme county!
