some days it is a lot more fun to open the mailbox than others….just look what I received all in one day!
Margaret of Alice and Camilla and I swapped magazines. I had the fun of unveiling this super German Stamping issue. Fun to see some of the talented gals I get to visit here in blogland featured in the magazine…so far I am enjoying the pictures (lots of techniques shared)….actually “reading” the magazine is another challenge, I am not that literate in German…quite yet
Elizabeth offered to share some of her swan feathers with me. I have a fascination with swans and could not be more pleased to have these beautiful feathers. She is lucky enough to live near the beach and visit a reserve with swans in residence, you can find out more about that mid way down the sidebar of her Last Door Down the Hall blog
I am still trying to visualize 100,00 tundra swans…..wowee!

yep, you definately had a “christmas” mail day. i got an outdated land’s end catalog. i drew facial hair on all the slim bikini models to make myself feel better about the lack of real mail
probably not appropriate for an art journal entry…but it made me fell better.

Enjoy Patty, it’s always nice to see what’s going on elsewhere in the world of art. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with the beautiful swan feathers. Mx

What a Bonanza you got in the mail. Love those feathers, and I don’t even care that much about swans except they are lovely to watch in the water. I’ll be waiting to see what you do with a feather or two, here or there!
