a view of the sunset here in Virginia this evening
a little after 5pm
so much beauty waiting to be noticed outside our front door
some evenings really take my breath away
I take lots of these sunset shots … each time seems brand new and I get so excited … just thought I would share a few snaps with you this time around

Each one is brand new. These are great shots and it was a lovely day and lovely evening. Glad I got to enjoy it again.

so lovely! I’ve taken a few photos outside my front door too. This time of year here is very pretty.
a fall sunset/twilight is magical and it shows in your photos.

Patty, I LOVED these shots out your front door! I love taking photos of the sky…in fact, in 2005, I made it my goal to take a photo of the sky EVERY day for a year. I did pretty well, missed only a few days, out of 365…and you know what? I had a great time looking up a lot more often

it’s getting dark so early over there. Here it’s dark around 8:30pm, proof that summer is around the corner. That’s my favourite part of summer, long days

I’m with you on the sky photos! The trick is to have your camera close as the sky can change so quickly. Saturday night here in Atlanta the sunset was pink. It was sooooo glorious. We were leaving for dinner out and when I suggested I run back in to get my camera, I got one of those looks. Someone was hungry. Nuff said. No shots of sunset.
