Veteran’s Day is a day of remembrance and a day of thanks. Thanks to our fathers, uncles, brothers and sisters. It is not easy to put into words my feelings of gratitude and sadness for all of the sacrifice over the years.
Remembering the millions of American troops now far away from home with thanks for their silent courage and service.

Jean at Bluebirds Living in the Meadow has a great link that tells about the opportunity to connect with a deployed soldier.
The image above is from Karen’s Whimsy. She has a wonderful website full of inspiration and amazing free clipart as well.
And don’t foget CardsForHeroes.org, they send cards to deployed soldiers : )

Yes! A beautiful old postcard too – a sentimental and nostalgic image that will never be old fashioned or out of date. Remembrance Day – here, there and everywhere.

Thank you! My father in law is a vet & my hubby is active duty. I am always so touched by others when they show their gratitude.
