Here is my collage for the Paper Whimsy Poetry challenge, the lovely poem by Hilda Conkling was the inspiration, along with a special collage sheet provided by Gale
Imagine a young girl (between the ages of 4 and 10) spouting forth lovely poetry like this
Hilda’s mother recorded her words for her
Patty, I LOVE your piece! I think my favorite part is the flowers on the little girl’s head with the bird. I’m still working on mine!

Beautiful! Where I live it is a mossy time of year – this piece gives moss another perspective – a smaller, childlike, elfen perspective. Lovely!

I read your post on Linda’s blog that you were soaking cardboard so I rushed over to see what you wee up to! haha
Very pretty piece. And I WOULD believe that a young child could have said that back in the day– pre video games when books or playing outside were the only entertainments AND a 3rd grade education was equivilant to today’s junior year of high school.
Where do you find time to make so much art ?(I envy you!)
