Belinda’s theme for this week’s Wednesday Stamper is “Fashion”
I used two rubber stamps…the arch is by Impression Obsession and Vision is by Stampers Anonymous
Not sure where I got the lady, but I have wanted to cut her skirt and put an image there for some time now
The curly gate is a photo I took in San Francisco last year. It is printed onto a transparency and I adhered it to the gold dotted decorative paper with the Xyron
I was hoping that the closeup would show the shine of the transparency, which is a nice feature in person
I had more ideas for this theme, but I have been slowed down by a cranky computer….problems going on and off for a week now
UAU! It looks like a real iron gate…!!

Patty, there are just so many beautiful features to this wonderful piece. I love the elegant lady in that enormous skirt. But my favorite part is the gate! I love it.
PS I haven’t forgotten that I borrowed your lily pic and planned to do a watercolor. I still haven’t gotten to it. I either can do crafts, which I am well into now, or do watercolors, which I’m not into at the moment.

Patty – extraordinary! Love it… and you keep reminding me about the Xyron. I love that you used your own photograph in your collage and I, too, would be wanting to collage that outrageous dress! =))

All I can do is echo everyone else! I LOVE it! The 2D layout, the cheeky Marie wanna-be and I love that her petticoat is replaced with something else- “vision”. The pattern tissue is a perfect touch too. Can’t wait to do a Marie for you too!

Lovely! I love the gold metallic dots in the back and the print between the skirt opening. Ingenious work. Hate how photos don’t do justice to the real piece, but I can see it’s stunning!
