Combining two of my favorite challenges today (you know I Love challenges!), I have really missed playing in each of these recently.
Art Creations Friday, challenge #32 is using this lovely lady image
I am just learning how to make mirror images 🙂 (the digital world is not my oyster quite yet LOL), so I have her looking the other way
The Dans ma maison il y a….challenge is…de la gaieté…..in our house there is “cheerfulness”
Food glorious food…..one of our all time favorite soft cheeses is Boursault. Not every grocery sells it. We have a standing joke where we say “just slap it on your hips” (our friend Catherine came up with that years ago)….it’s still a treat that we do enjoy now and again….a nice crusty baguette and some sliced pear = ooh la laa! Back to my house book……which has been neglected for too long now. Here is the last time I played in it….YIKES where does the time go!
This cheese makes us very cheerful! Babette is telling Julien that it’s her favorite too!

The beautiful lace from art friend, Carmen Dyson, was glued on with UHU glue stick, I am still playing with my plastic doily bits, this time with acrylic paint pounced through

ooh I love that cheese too, I get the cracked pepper, sometimes hard to find. Love your girl and the whole spread! Good for you. I need to get back to my book, maybe tonight. Hey if you email me privately and you are somewhere in the USA I will send you some beautiful swan feathers. They are molting and I have been collecting.

Love ” Cheese Glourious Cheese” and the “just slap it on your hip!” quote. In fact I think I love everything about your blog- The Emerson quote on the top is a real keeper. I think you do indeed know how to play. Thanks for coming by to see my Pink Saturday post. I’m sure I will be back here for a visit soon. Sweetpea Sue

wonderful patty! 🙂
the digital world can be intimidating at times, but sometimes a simple F1 helps (-lol!) to find the answer. I know I’ve been using that a lot this weekend, lol.
also, today’s picture reminded me of this blog I wanted to share with you http://18thcenturyblog.com It’s a blog for all things from the 1700’s. I really loved fashion in this time :]

I had to laugh when I read about your love for the cheese! Sometimes I think I’m part “mouse”!!! LOL I can totally identify with “just put it on the hips”! I’m still wearing cheese from ten years ago! Hugs, Terri xoxo

How delightful Patty; lovely lace, beautiful background….and great use of cheese packaging! We love Boursin – sounds similar but its loaded with garlic. Same effect on the hips though…

I just love this Patty, especially the lace sagging a touch under her, and your gesso/doily background texture 🙂 Great idea to use your cheese label. I am not a cheese lover so I don’t know of it but my hubby is, will have to tell him about it.
