I have a lot to share with you today
Judy of Apron Strings blog recently organized a tea cup swap… thanks again Judy!
Kimmie and I ended up being swap partners … it was a surprise up until the package arrived at my door
this beautiful and colorful fine bone English china cup and saucer (everything tastes better in a pretty cup) traveled all the way from the west coast
along with so many special goodies wrapped in pretty lavender tissue paper … an altered puzzle piece with a polished sea glass bird wing … a piece of Zentangled seashell … precious pictures from a special children’s book … a beautiful smooth rock artfully decorated by Kimmie and more
the fortune says: “You will be fortunate in everything you put your hands to” = Love that!!!
exotic teas … Dragon Pearls … how magical … can’t wait to try a cup
the final bit of treasure has created a bit of a stir … a wee personalized matchbox filled to the brim with tiny bits of this and that … be sure and visit Kimmie at her Art in Red Wagons to see exactly what she tucked into what she calls a mini junk drawer
there is even a German Pfennig
inspired by a flickr pool called The International Championship League of Matchbox Stuffers … always amazing what people come up with
Pat McNally got inspired and got busy creating her own stuffed matchbox and I WON it as a prize … lucky me!!!
if you like the idea of stuffing tiny treasures into a matchbox why not join Pat of Artfully Ooglebloops for a Matchbox Swap … you would only have to make one … if you can stop at one

Hello Patty,
what wonderful gifts for you. I am happy with you.
The German penny brings the happyness to you.
I know its because I am German. You could see in my wrong English writing, sorry about that. But I hope you understand me.

I had so much fun gathering together little goodies to send you 🙂
My littlest girl helped me pick out the teacup – we searched high and low through a local antique store – I actually don’t think it’s a real antique – but the pattern and colors were pretty cool 🙂
I love my package from you! Thank you so much for all the treasures ….. I had the Puerh tea today – it’s amazing! This was just so much fun!
I hope you have a beautiful Tuesday!

Although I love the tea cup and the other wonderful items Kimmie picked out for you, I was most interested in the decorated match box. As always, you have pointed me to something new and wonderfully interesting. This matchbook swap sounds hot!!

What a wonder-full bundle Kimmie packed up for you!!!!
We need ONE more person,( or two, or 4) to have an even number for the matchbox swap. If we get ONE more, and no more responses by the weekend, I close it up and pick swap partners! Woohoo- we are itching to get going!!! LOL
