Dona Nobis Pacem

Latin for “Grant Us Peace”

a year has passed already since last year’s Blog Blast for Peace … I am no further along in knowing how to do artwork in Photoshop … so my blog blast is a handmade collage again using scissors and glue on a background that Mimi Lenox provided here

she is the mastermind behind this important project

Dona-Nobis-Pacem

the angel is a photo I took of a gravestone at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Washington, DC

note it is #1685 here

  7. Lovely Peace Globe (no matter how you created it). How wonderful to listen to the Gregorian chanting and to learn so many different ways to express peace. I believe that peace is a choice and begins within … radiating outwards to others! Here’s wishing YOU peace in each moment. I’m participating on all 4 of my blogs …
    just because 😉

  10. A beautiful post and art to go with it. All the more meaningful today, as we learn of the massacre at Fort Hood, that the person who did it was scheduled to leave for Iraq and did not want to go. No peace of mind for him, or peace of place for the others. This is such a beautiful reminder of what should be so very important to us all.

  11. Stunning.

And the Gregorian chant along with the enchanting rocky coastline is truly heavenly. The area around Peggy’s Cove here in Nova Scotia is very similar, and that is the place where I’m happiest inside.

    Peace to you, Patty.
