WS: Santa Claus + Giveaway Winner

Belinda’s theme for this weeks Wednesday Stamper challenge is “Santa”

only one rubber stamp went into my “Holly Jolly” postcard

I stamped the holly and berries … colored them and then cut it into three parts for easier handling and gluing

I used a vintage (funny how that word sounds so much better than “old“) clothes brush as a stand … it works like a charm

this photo of a door in the posh Georgetown section of Washington, DC is what I used for my postcard background (taken from the car, it needs  a little straightening)… I think we must have caught it in the “just sanded” stage before it was to be painted … I Loved the look of it … please feel free to download the door picture and use it in your artwork (click twice to get the BIG picture)

and now for the winner of my stuffed matchbox giveaway

I decided to do it the old fashioned way by writing each person’s name on a slip of (recycled) paper and putting them in a hat

and the winner is…………..

thanks to everyone for your lovely comments … you all help make blogging so much fun!
