La Gioconda Occhi

“Leonardo da Vinci” is the theme for Wednesday Stamper this week and “Eyes” is the theme over at Sunday Postcard Art

for my postcard I used a favorite image from a book of mine and added “Mona Lisa Eyes” … some magazine bits … peeled and cut napkin swirls (that was painstaking I’ll tell you!) … black German scrap for the base of the ‘crown’ … a bit of text and painted lace trim at the bottom

here is the B Line Designs Ironworks stamp I used along with the paper napkin

  4. Love the way you got them Mona eyes to match the other image. I can only imagine the “patience” level cutting out the swirls. I’ve been there, done that, and admire your work! *applause* *applause*

  27. Wonderful art! Funny to see Mona with a different nose and mouth. I had to cover the lower half of the face (my hand on the computer screen) to make sure it was Mona’s eyes. Neat juxtaposition!
