I am entering my little matchboxes in The Graphic Fairy’s Brag Monday … pop on over and see the lovely offerings!
Oh my — these art pieces are absolutely lovely. What a creative idea, too. I found your blog through fellow artist Marlynn at Honeysuckle Breeze. Your pieces are another reminder that spring is on its way. And I can’t wait to explore the rest of your artwork. Cheers!

Patty, I smile every time I see your nests in a post. One of my design professors used to drum the words “Presentation is all!” into our heads. Oh, she was so right! Your nests are so lovely, but the presentation . . . . Oh My!!! Gorgeous!!! Wishing you a fabulous weekend. Hugs, Terri xoxo

I’m so impressed with these! Not that I’m not impressed with ANY of your work.. I’ve used matchboxes before to make amulets… I think I still have one. I’ll have to dig it out to share. These are so fabulous! What wonderful little reminders of spring!

Art within Art… just love what you did with the match boxes and the presentation is wonderful Patty, I love how you used a big kale leaf (or is it cabbage?) as a back drop and the grape hyacinths are just beautiful in the teapot. All around perfect.
P.S where on earth do all your little matchboxes come from?
