trying to capture the moon is not easy … a tripod and a patient photographer (Mr Magpie) certainly help …
these photos were not altered or retouched in any way … you can click or double click on each for a super closeup too … our camera definitely does better with daylight photos

i love the haze around the moon in some of those photos. i can see why you’d use a disclaimer about the photos not being retouched. sometimes the natural world is just so perfect, that you think it can’t be real! great photos. patience is a virtue 😉

Gorgeous! Don’t you just love the sky? In fact, I’m laughing because just this past week I must have shot a couple of hundred photos of the clouds…they’ve been so beautiful here.
