Happy St Patrizio’s Day

St Patrizio’s is what a local mom and pop Italian eatery is calling St Patrick’s Day…

“When the first light of sun, Bless you.

When the long day is done, Bless you.

In your smiles and your tears, Bless you.

Through each day of your years, Bless you.”

~Irish Blessing

  6. Ooooo, you’re getting tech-y on us! Fun trick! Could make for an interesting scavenger hunt around blogland!

The Irish know how to write the blessings…

    Happy St. PATTY’s Day!

  9. My sweet lassie,

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
    And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

May God be with you and bless you:
May you see your children’s children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
    Rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
    From this day forward.

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.

May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.

  11. My, oh, my! Aren’t we becoming more and more high tech all the time?! What a precious Irish Blessing too…they sure have some real keepers! Wonderful YouTube video. That distinctive Gaelic music…so soulful. Will have to share this with the hubby so he can relive a “boys only trip” to that area from years ago [a lot of golf involved].

And last, but not least, beautiful vignette you’ve created! Those curly branches with the fuzzy-wuzzies hanging…love ’em!

  12. Many blessings to you, Sweet Patty, on this lucky St. Paddy’s Day! Hugs, Terri xoxo
