Enchanted Spring…

…is another Heaven…


tender shades of green…

are where my creativity led me for Wednesday Stamper’s “Enchanted Spring” theme this week…


a four inch (10.16 cm) square painted canvas….three quarters inch (1.9 cm) thick that I collaged papers and images onto along with a piece of paper measuring tape along the left side…


I like how words often reveal themselves when you’re working on a piece…

lots of people in the northern hemisphere are longing for Spring…

it is definitely one of my favorite seasons here in Virginia

    I love this Patty and anything green now is welcome up north.

    I love the layers, how they show more and more things the longer you look at the piece, and I’m also a big fan of the text “revealing itself” from underneath.

    Now that is a beautiful canvas….and the words you used say so much.

    Spring is trying here. But the WIND is blowing so hard, you can’t be outside right now! We call that a “small dog warning” here! Even the birdies are hanging on for dear life!

    Dear Patty,
    This is wonderful! I love this peace and I relate to the “Breathe” on the side because it is the thing I am trying to remember to do! Your collage is lush and full of lots of wonderful color and texture and print. I enlarged it so I could see closely. I am so fascinated with this art and I don’t know how to do it. Do you know of a good book that could start me out?

    We had several wonderful days of the sun shining in Minnesota and now it is gloomy and grey. I just read the weather report and it is to rain today and snow tomorrow. To think we were out of the white stuff for six weeks this winter and I am still tired of it!

    She’s very beautiful Patty! And, quite serene! I love the diversity of your artwork – always a treat to visit and see what you’re up to… The photos in your previous post are gorgeous.
