first I want to thank the always generous and kind Estivalia for coming to my rescue yet again…
she made it possible for my word of the year “Balance” to be on my sidebar AND she also got the Tea on Tuesday widget working for me…
thank you thank you sweet Estivalia!!!
lots is going on here in our Magpie’s Nest…
we are in the midst of clearing out …
always it seems…
but now more earnestly than ever…
we are also in the process of replacing some carpet that has long outlived its usefulness…
as you may know all of that is hard work so in the evenings I have been relaxing by doing a bit of doodling…
I am a bit of a lazy doodler using my favorite ‘easy’ marks…
clearing out is a process much like doodling taking one step at a time…
“It is not how much you do, but how much (L)ove you put into the doing that matters.” ~Mother Teresa OXO
This doesn’t look like lazy doodling to me Patty! Gorgeous detail and I love what you did! Wonderful! xxoo

Patty — I LOVE these! How can you call it “lazy”? 🙂 This has REALLY interested me in trying this — I used to love to doodle, years ago. Thanks!

My two favorites: Hearts AND Elephants.
Doodling (for me) ususally consists of making houses or geometric shapes on paper while I’m on the phone. What does THAT mean???? I so like your doodling…all curvy lines and romance.
EONS ago I took Tole Painting and one of the ‘in’ things to do in the late 70’s was to ‘doodle’ onto a plaque and then paint over it with color. In fact, I made on of those plaques for a new baby in ’78 and that baby still has it! She is now a mom of 3!
Perhaps it’s time to re-doodle for me.

Oh so creative Patty – there’s just something about elephants – love them! Those patterns you’ve doodled look like the authentic Indian ones.
Your “Balance” button looks beautiful – clever Estivalia – we all need one blog buddy with the techno skills!!
Blogger is having so many issues at the mo too, with leaving comments and now I can’t add people to my blog roll grrrrr.

Patty your doodling is gorgeous-it looks so authentic and professional-wow am I impressed! I can’t imagine any doodling of mine could look near this good. I especially adore the elephant, as I have been drawn to Indian/Hindu spiritualism for the last few years.

Patty your doodling looks nothing like lazy to me! I absolutely love it. I have been doodling too – it always starts while I’m doing something mundane and then I get totally lost in it. I want to play with it more as it is so relaxing isn’t it? I’m really interested in the meanings of them and I looked mine up – I always doodle arrow heads … apparently it signifies ambition! That’s a bit scary but maybe I can make it come true – teehee! Lots and lots of love, Pen xxx
