Spring Tea…

here in Virginia the season of renewal has returned…

tender green is showing on the Weeping Willows once again…

the birds

are singing

and splashing around

as

colors return

to the landscape…

it feels like March pretending to be May…

hope you are enjoying whatever season you are in and that you have a very Happy Tea on Tuesday

special hugs and a quote for so many friends that are going through hard times just now…

“Listen now to the gentle whispers of hope.”

Oh to see the beautiful blue of your grape hyacinths.
The orange of the your pretty little visitor at the birdbath.
The delicious new green leaves of the willow – WOW isn’t nature clever!

  2. It felt like May here, too, until yesterday, when the rain came pouring down and the temperature dropped about 20 degrees F. I saw on TV (and thought of you and Mr. Magpie) the cherry blossoms are in bloom in Washington DC and are expected to peak this week. The announcer said it was not the earliest they had ever bloomed, but it was quite early none-the-less. Have a wonderful Tea Tuesday and enjoy your spring as it blossoms in your area!

  3. Spring is sooooooo glorious! You’ve captured its flavor quite well! Loved the little cardinal taking his bath and those creatively covered eggs! Is the sweet little jointed bunny one of your Mutti’s creations? Seems like I remember somewhere in the past you shared something similar she had made. If so, just another little precious reminder of the love & care she poured into all she touched. xo

  8. HAPPY SPRING to you! We have the same birdbath (there’s no surprise!) but you have Cardinals. How lovely they are and their song is so pretty! Look at all the green and yellow and purple that is showing up in your neck of the woods! What are those hanging yellow flowers? WOW!
May your day be filled with birds singing and the smell of flowers surround your nose!

  10. Beautiful photos! I am enjoying every moment of our fair weather. Early this morning when I stepped outside, the forest around our house was shrouded in a light fog and the birdsong was magical. Each season holds it’s own miracle.
