feeling a little betwixt and between in my creativity lately eventho I am really enjoying playing with wool again…
I put the finishing touches on a thank you gift for a friend…
Mr Magpie had flattened and curled lots of pieces of cutlery for me awhile ago…
this piece was crying for attention…
I first tried my hand at altering cutlery back in 2008…
Just lovely – have seen many pieces done with cutlery, etc. These are definitely among the loveliest I have seen!

I love this! A friend of mine has a wind chime made from cutlery and I admire it every time I see it. Great use for the odd pieces that nobody seems to want.

Just getting back from an unplanned trip to Wisconsin (we received sad news of Joe’s grandmother passing and went up for the funeral) and catching up on your last few posts. Your altered silverware is sooo lovely and of course I am still awed by yet even more beautiful stone angel posts. Speaking of gifts for friends I found something at a flea market while I was away that I am hoping a special friend will love. 😉 xoxo

Your little mixed media piece is absolutely adorable. I wish I had a Mr. Magpie to flatten my silver and even the non-silver stuff that is much harder, that we find in today’s thrift stores. This is truly wonderful and very impressive.
