Art Journal Journey’s theme this month is “angels”…
something near and dear to my heart…
I got busy gluing papers and bits of this and that to the pages of my old encyclopedia with soft gel medium…
with special thanks to Carmen Dyson for all of the wonderful vintage finds she shares so frequently with our local arts group…
Jean I used one of your lovely tissue paper images and some of the pretty paper you sent to me too = so many precious ingredients from thoughtful and generous friends who are like angels here on earth…
my star stamp was made by heating the star shaped black foam attachment of a Colorbox Stylus and pressing it into a swirl pattern (I’ve had it for so long now I forget what I used exactly)…

Beautiful pages ….love the quote too….AND wow…1,600,,,makes me smile as I was thinking about my 200 something post and was amazed that I have been blogging that long….BUT…….omg I doubt I will ever catch up to you….here is to the next 1,600….have fun!!

Wow. I realize you like angels, but this is wonderful. And of course, the tip about the stylus is incredible. I have several of those styluses (styli?), but none of mine are that large. They are the size of the little ink pads. I’ll have to take a new interest in them, since I never even considered heating them until your tip. After all, that’s what blogging friends are for. Of course, there’s always inspirational art, too!!
