Blossom Love…

Parasol Painting

Mr Magpie and I celebrated our anniversary last week by enjoying the cherry blossoms in unusually hot summer like temperatures…

Bluebell Traveling Tea Cupwe made time first thing that same morning to visit our favorite bluebells with our traveling tea cup in tow…

Starling with Cherry Blossoms

the cherry blossoms are in the city…

and the blue bells are in a park a little nearer to our home…

Bluebell Forest

each place is special to us for different reasons…

Panorama Bull Run Park

the bluebell forest walk is always so peaceful…

Panorama Bluebell Forest

we had the idea of using the panorama feature on our camera and Mr Magpie made it work vertically to try and capture the majesty of one of the trees in the bluebell woods

Bluebell Woods T Cup

we are lucky that for the fourth year in a row we have been able to enjoy both blooming events…

Happy Wanderers

one year we visited the bluebells six different times…

P.S. On a light note – if you ever tire of your parasole know that there would be a loving home for it in Scotland lol.

  13. It’s been a thrill to follow you through the meadow and join you during your trips to DC, especially during the Cherry Blossom Festival. But it’s been even more fun to wish you and Mr. M. a happy anniversary for four years now.

I’m so, so glad we are virtual friends and we can spend this time together over tea and talk about tall trees and blue bells. What fun!

BTW, I should have mentioned something about the Boston disaster, too, but I wasn’t thinking, even though the events were playing in the background on my tv while I uploaded my photos.
