I have wanted to try my hand at using water soluble oil pastels and gesso for some time now…

    it is amazing from start till finish, and the layers each add to that beauty, dear Patty.
    I love you cut out photoes from mags. and the beautiful Sari silk and ribbon- the pattern on the pages (stamped? ) and the happy colours!

  15. So much to love on this two page spread, like the velvet rick rack, something I have never seen before. And the face. How awesome. What a great way to alter it.

    Of course, I would love someday to own some of those lovely oil pastels. Mine are not water soluble, so I have to use a turpentine substitute and don’t get the creaminess you get.

    All in all, a very good job of both words and images. Excellent color choices and great composition.
