since I had some leftover inchies printed I thought I would use some in another set of journal pages for the Art Journal Journey SQUARE challenge this month…
playing in my Britannica Junior encyclopedia volume “B” that I started back in the summer of 2010 here (that is what happens when you have several journals going at the same time)…
this is the eleventh and most likely last spread in this journal…
next I will get busy on the cover…
some of what went into my pages: vintage music paper, inchies, washi tape, paint, gesso, tea dyed cheesecloth, rubberstamp frame, felt crown, stencil paste, Distress Ink, Woody Stabilos, Viva Inka Gold…

Really like your idea of using old books and your pages are really nice!

Such creatively beautiful pages…the stencil paste really adds a delicate dimension. How do you like working with it? Does it dry with any stickiness left behind?

Oh the absolute beauty of this.
The use of colour and texture alone is sensational and then you paint that captivating figure with her special crown. The use of the square alone is so striking.
Very special.
Wishes for a lovely weekend.
