Mandala Monday: Hello Hibiscus

a little of this and a little of that from our summer garden for Dawn’s Mandala Monday

Hibiscus Mandala

Hibiscus blooms are another of the many flowers I look forward to each year…

Hibiscus Mandala A

the petals are a bit delicate and began to curl quickly…

Hibiscus Mandala (1)

the green leaves I started the mandala with are from a naughty creeping vine that seems to really like our lawn and gardens…

Hibiscus Mandala (2)

some of the other plants I used are White Gooseneck Loosestrife … variegated leaves from our Privet bushes … tall Phlox flowers and a tiny mystery white button flower

  1. Happy Monday Patty, this is stunning and gorgeous. The top half is so gorgeous and then to see the second plate on bottom makes it even more so. I really love those sweet little white flowers, little mini ones are always the cutest and my favorite. Great colors and design for this one, I bet it was fun for you. Have a good day and see you tomorrow for some T at Elizabeth’s.

Those white flowers are so sweet and the Hibiscus so beautiful. Your Mandala posts, more than any other, always bring a wonderful serenity to my time on-line.

  7. I’m not sure which impresses me more: the gorgeous flowers and leaves you use to put your mandalas together with, the designs you incorporate, the china and other backdrops, or the beautiful tablescapes. Each bit adds to the whole. As they say in psychology, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Happy Mandala Monday and thanks again for your examples that encouraged me to join this fun weekly event.
