our traveling tea cup is on the road again (our trip to California was so unexpected we never thought to take it with us)…
we are celebrating the end of summer and beginning of fall on Ocracoke Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina…last time we got to visit was four years ago…
it is a beautiful and peaceful place with its own sweet country charms...
the 1823 Ocracoke Lighthouse is the second oldest working lighthouse in the United States whose light can be seen from fourteen miles away…we find ourselves drawn to it again and again…it is so photogenic…
I am joining Elizabeth and Bleubeard for T today and look forward to catching up with everyone soon…
I appreciate you visiting me here and I enjoy reading each and every comment very much…
It looks so lovely and peaceful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos.

OMGosh! I didn’t know you had a traveling teacup! That is so cool! What a beautiful, peaceful place that looks. I love lighthouses. Can’t tell you why, as I am landlocked in the middle north of the country–lol! Maybe that’s why. they’re exotic to me. 😉 Happy T-Day!

I cannot believe how late I am getting here. I went shopping today instead of tomorrow, and when I got home, could barely walk. So, laid down and just got up a few minutes ago. Sorry I’m late.
First, that first photo is fantastic. You create the most beautiful vignettes, even when you are away from home. Truly awesome.
I really enjoyed Mr. M. creating the word LOVE in the sand. What a genuine gesture of love and caring. And, a good photo op, too (grin).
Glad you took the traveling tea cup on this trip. It was fun to follow you around that lighthouse and the outer banks. Never been, so that was a fun experience for me.
Happy rather belated T from your not too punctual hostess.

I know that you know now that while you were away at a beautiful beach so were we-but in Cape May, NJ! We can’t get enough of the lighthouses either so I’ll soon be posting some pics too 🙂 There’s no better place than the beach and ocean air to keep one’s soul tank full.

I must share this post with my Mum as she would be transported when seeing the images of the ocean. She loves to paddle in the water and walk along by the water’s edge although the opportunities are so few those days but she adores such images. Strange then that I should have a slight fear of the ocean and what lies beneath.
Your travelling teacup is always such fun and you are always so inventive.
Have a beautiful weekend.
Wishes
Lynne
P.S. I do so miss my e-mail notification of your new posts 😦

Oh dearest Patty, the sea, the wonderful Light tower, the love between you two, -all shines and speaks about a most beautiful vacation on this island.
It looks like the : Vesterhavet in Jylland, where my mother is born… we also have light houses there, but not many functioning any more.
Your photoes are showing such a cozy and beautiful place to relax, and have a lovely cup of tea!! I wish I could have been drinking one with you !!

You two are totally in sync Patty – I love the last image for many reasons.
Little cup is not a stay-at-home cup any more.
Such a beautiful part of the world – aren’t we so lucky to live on planet Earth.
