this month’s theme over at Art Journal Journey is “She-Art

art of the feminine is something I really connect with and enjoy…

the words “sisters of the moon” are from a North Carolina beer label that caught Mr Magpie’s attention while we were at the beach (he thought I would like to have the Mother Earth bottle caps too)…

I have not been able to get this lovely video off my mind…

so I got busy in my dinosaur children’s board book adding some of my gelli print pages creating an instant background…Sisters of the moon (1)

some of my favorite girls in black always seem to surface this time of year too…
