    Wonderful, wonderful! I so love fungi! I once saw some like this in the forest and the spores were steaming and creating a mist like in Sci fi!!! Incredible! Did you see my comment on your last post about the Spindle Tree? I love your images, they are golden indeed! Julie Ann xx

    it says it IS edible when it is young…but as Dawn said I wouldn’t dare…

    Here it is Saturday morning and I’m just now seeing your Wednesday post. It’s pretty obvious I have been away from my computer.

    Beautiful photos and delightful post, but I keep thinking about the saying that every rose has its thorn. Of course, that extreme close-up in the last photo makes me think of glazed pottery.
