playing again in my little 1931 Funk & Wagnalls Enclyclopedia with new pages for the Art Journal Journey (AJJ) Circles challenge…
I began by stamping on used tea bag paper which I have lots of…
using a couple of circle paper punches on a scrap piece of newspaper print paper that I had stamped a long time ago helped my pages come together…
a thin coat of white gesso muted the book pages a bit…
it was a sweet surprise when the words “Germany” and “Munich” popped off the page at me …
that is where my mother was from and I was born there too…
I added a bit of Crystal Lacquer on her earrings and on the words…
a few vintage blooms for her hair and part of this quote:

Oh my goodness, it’s amazing. I love it very much. What you did with the swirls looks like afro look hair, remember me at the musical “Hair”, great.
The swirly circles on the left side make a good balance to the right side, and the nature colours don’t disturb the motifes. Great artwork my dear.Bravo!

She is wonderful, I so love you gave her shining earrings , and so beautiful with the tea paper, I love to use them,too- love the see through ,-and what a greeting from home, dearest Patty, ,sometimes we think things are not coinsidences!!! The qoute is lovely and adding tea-brown to the edges makes everything stand forward !!!

What a stunning stamp she is but it is your hands that she begins her transformation. I love the stamping surface, the stained tea bag and the use of the quote and selecting Munich in recognition of your Mother’s homeland and your birth place.
