I have had a package of metal Martha Stewart bird stickers for some time now and finally found a spot to use one (the things I buy with a coupon sometimes hah!)…
birds in the garden are wonderful living beings and are always a big source of enjoyment to me (some of the supplies I used: gesso… walnut ink… paints… postage stamp on Buckram background… metal bird sticker… rubber stamps)…

It’s fascinating the things one can use in collage….buckram for instance. That was one thing I hadn’t considered, tho’ I use plasterer’s tape and all sorts of other stuff. The bird is perfect, and sets off a really lovely page.

What a clever title for your post. Like me, you buy craft supplies that are on sale or with a coupon, not sure what you will do with them. Then suddenly, the perfect spread comes along and you know just what to use. This bird really makes a statement on the page.

What a relaxed aND pieceful scenery , my dear Patty — the woman enjoying her day, inside, with the tame birdie, while snow falls from above, outside her window ! I love how your background looks, and the warm colours behind her whiteness and the “snow” ( the snow is Just my imagination, hehe)

I hope you will know what I mean when I say this has all the hallmarks of a “Patty” page. It has an air of contentment, lovely subtle and artistic use of colours, little and larger details to admire and investigate and it helps to make the world feel like a better and friendlier place.

Amazing page , Patty. beautiful and relaxing. The bird is a lovely touch.
Now that I have a garden the one so interested in birds is my sweet cat. She just sit and watch, I know she is a hunter but still, I love to watch her enjoying a bit of Nature and wild life after so many years living in the city.:-)
