this post is an accumulation of about three Sunday visits to a favorite new shopping area about 12 miles away from us…
it has lots of charm and interest geared toward families with things like yoga in the park … a giant movie screen for special events and indoor theaters too…
two places we always visit are MOM’s which is a really nice organic market and Le Pain Quotidien for scones and maybe a chia muffin as a treat for the week…
on Sunday’s through October they have a farmer’s market with assorted live entertainment…
and quite an array of offerings under each white canopy strung in a long row…
this past Sunday we tried some delicious creamy fresh peach ice cream made right before our eyes using liquid nitrogen like a fun edible science experiment…
there are some beautiful planters and a few long beds of Equisetum commonly known as Horsetail that I am drawn to again and again…
window shopping at Anthropologie is always fun…
their displays are well thought out and eye catching with some great “shelfie” photo opportunities…
I enjoy the outdoor atmosphere with shops and eateries much more than an enclosed mall and while strolling we spotted this chalk board outside Capital Teas (we do plan to step inside and sample their wares sometime)…

I look forward to visiting with you again in early October after we return from a couple of weeks at the beach ~♥~ here’s wishing you a very Happy T Day along with everyone over at Elizabeth and Bleubeard’s
Gosh there is nothing quite like unexpected street music is there?? I just love it…..Hugs! deb

I’m going to miss you for the next couple of weeks. It won’t be the same without you around. But I look forward to catching up with you when you return. And I hope you and Mr. M. have a super (and safe) time at the beach.
Thanks for sharing all these beauties with us for T this Tuesday.

This looks like a beautiful place to stroll and shop, and those scones have my mouth watering! The shelfie of tea cups is perfect for tea day today. I have never seen Horsetail (gorgeous) which reminds me of bamboo–or at least the stalk does. Have a wonderful time at the beach!

The new Shopping Mall looks very good and there are nice shops in it. And you made wonderful photos of it. I love them all, but your shadow photo below is so nice, great effect with the colours and textures in front of the white teacups.

Thanks for taking me with you on your shopping trip. I enjoyed myself! That quote is a good one for me to keep in the front of my mind 🙂 I’ve been looking for horsetail, but none of the local places carry it.

Oh enjoy the beach. Perfect time of year to do so. Nice mall there, so rare to find one that incorporated a farmer’s market. Made me think of Pritzger Park and the Institute of Art in Chicago, has that same kind of feel with the architecture and the green. Nice. xox

Is the last piece a product of your new on-line course, I wonder?

Patty, that sounds like a wonderful shopping mall! The ice cream making was impressive, I imagine. I remember the horsetail plant from the time I was in the garden club. Lots of floral artists used it.
