when a set of chipboard tea cups surfaced while I was doing some clearing out I just had to play with layers of my favorite map tissue and my white acrylic paint pen…
the words are computer generated …
and speaking of cups … this photo of my Irish Shannonbridge cup that we brought back from Dublin in 2013 has nice hot Organic Choice Earl Grey tea in it (the elf/Zwerg really wanted to have his picture taken too as standing around holding wooden toothpicks all day can get a little tiresome)…
that delicious quinoa and spelt flour scone is something Mr Magpie and I treat ourselves to every now and then at our local Le Pain Bakery (their Chia Muffins are irresistible too!)…
wishing you a ♣Happy St Paddy’s Day♣ and a Happy T Day along with everyone over at Elizabeth’s T Stands for Tuesday…
(if you would like please feel free to help yourself to a copy of my 1909 postcard sent to Miss Raftery in New York, NY)
“When the first light of sun, Bless you. When the long day is done, Bless you. In your smiles and your tears, Bless you. Through each day of your years, Bless you.” ~Irish Blessing
Hey Patty…Happy St. Patrick’s day to you. Your chipboard teacup is so cool…it would look great on the kitchen wall. As for Zwerg, well he’s having a great time.

That tissue looks like it was made specifically for that tea cup. Looks like you are going to have fun creating the “pages” in this new chipboard book. You truly WERE dancing around the room when you created this. It’s a true beauty.
So glad you shared some Irish goodies with us for T, too. Thanks for sharing both your new chipboard cup, and your Irish cup with us for T this week, dear friend.

A lovely post, those chipboard cups are so pretty and you have decorated yours so well. Thanks for the lovely Irish postcard, too. My fave Irish blessing is this one:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Alles Liebe, Valerie

I’m a little late for tea, but I hope you had a lovely day yesterday. The tea cup chipboard is charming and I like how you decorated it with your map tissue. I’m on the hunt for some small chipboard cups to use on the cover of my AB, but I have lots of time until I am ready.
Nothing better than a fresh scone and tea in a beautiful mug to bring back memories of a happy vacation!
