back in March while digging through some of my art supplies I came across a set of blank chipboard tea cups (if you’d like a closer look you can click on the photos)…
so I got busy sharing my progress along the way with you here…
I did not concern myself with the order of the tea cups…
rather I worked on the fronts and backs of each cup as the spirit moved me off and on over the months…
it worked well that there was no official “cover” so the pages can be turned and left open where ever…
it really was fun and a nice little challenge to work around the handle of each cup keeping the designs on the simple side…
a shout out to Elizabeth our hostess with the mostess… I was the lucky winner of her second anniversary giveaway and here are the lovely goodies I received (I confess the paper hound in me really swooned over the lovely star tissue paper which reminds me so much of my German heritage)…
here’s wishing you a Happy T Day along with everyone over at Elizabeth’s Altered Book Lover… thank you for stopping by I appreciate your visit very much…
Beautiful work, I love your little tea-cup journal. Hugs, Valerie

It looks like your teacup art journal is now complete. How awesome. It was so much fun to see all the altered cups together. Pretty great collection you have there, and a great coffee table addition, too.
Looks like you have already put ink on those images, dear Patty. I hope you see why I thought they reminded me of YOU. BTW, they don’t make those bird 1 cent stamps anymore.
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous teacup journal with us for T this Tuesday.

I’ve enjoyed watching the tea cup journal progress. Very nice. I noticed the plant in the tea pot on your table. It made me smile. Good use of a tea pot that lost is lid or maybe doesn’t hold tea anymore.

The teacup chipboard tag is so perfect for you! I am sure it was lots of fun to work with this as the substrate for each of those beautiful pieces of art. I certainly enjoyed taking the time to study each page. A stunning collection.

Love your tea cup journal. The idea of not having a cover is brilliant with a binder ring. That’s another *slapping the forehead* moment for me! I’ve been very MIA lately…as with every summer, we try and squeeze the most out of it up to the very end. Resort time in a week. 🙂
