for T Stands for Tuesday today I am sharing a page I made for the BLACK & WHITE challenge at Moo Mania and More…
the teapot and cup are clip art from The Graphics Fairy that I enchanced a bit with my white Signo pen and black Stabilo pencil …using some paper doily pieces and adding some rubber stamping too (the white dots were made with a water based white Sharpie)…
it is the left side of a two page spread done a couple of days apart (more about the right side with the lady here)…
using only black and white is a fun challenge…
but I am very grateful to live in a world full of color…
wishing you a Happy T Day along with everyone at Elizabeth’s Altered Book Lover…
~*Happy September…thank you for your visit*~
interesting challenge. I often say I’m allergic to black! I really like the film your cup page. thanks for the kind wishes!

Golly Patty. You put my altered book spread to shame. Just goes to show, even if we both use the same prompt (B & W), yours is always so much lovelier than mine. I’m not putting myself (or my art) down, just knowing from an artistic and aesthetic standpoint how much nicer your page is than mine. I was totally impressed with your cup and teapot. BTW, I should visit Graphic Fairy more often. You found some lovely, lovely images.
Thanks for sharing your colorful AND black and white world with us for T this week.

I do like the lady with flowers and birds. It’s interesting to see how much can be expressed in b/w pictures. Happy T Tuesday.

That’s a stunning spread, Patty! I find especially in B & W photos, the details are often clearer. One of these days, I will get around to beaded some black roses, inspired by your lady! Have a happy afternoon!

I think having afternoon tea with little cakes and cucumber sandwiches sounds so delightful – of course in order to do that I really need an upstairs maid and a cook. I do not require a ladies maid as I am not a fancy lady at all. In fact, some people would not even consider me a lady. I love the United Kingdom and hope to visit again one day. And if I could afford a speaking coach I would speak with a British accent. And there you have it Patty. All this to tell you how much I do love your tea cup page!!

I’m another fan of black and white art work so this spread really appealed to me. I like the use of the white pencil/pen. I’m always thinking white paper/black ink but you’ve given me some other ideas.

I really have to do a b/w challenge and push myself. It is so not my thing and that’s when you know you have to reach out. This turned out beautifully.
