a couple more pages in one of my gesso journals for Art Journal Journey’s THROUGH MY WINDOW challenge…
the found poetry on the left and the veiled bust of the lady on the right hand page had been patiently waiting for attention…
the PSX (K-3565) collage rubber stamp that I stamped on white tissue paper led me to searching through my postage stamp collection and the first stamp I found was the 1956 U.S. Children’s Stamp about “Friendship – The Key To World Peace“…
the masking tape like border at the bottom was torn from a lint roller and too good to throw away (I was raised in a waste not want not household and still practice that!) so I stamped lightly with a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection border stamp and embellished it with a bit of gold paint…
“A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” -Oscar Wilde
Wonderful journal pages, love the stamps too. Great idea with the tape! The quote from Oscar Wilde is most appropriate for me just now. Have a lovely weekend, hugs, Valerie

Great pages with the veiled lady in front of the golden window. The post stamps show what she could see if she would look outside, right? Very good!
Have a nice sunday my Dear.

Wonderful masking tape border, dear Patty, (I also save everything) and the sleeping princess will soon be waked with a kiss of prince fisherman ! The stamps from all over the world tells what is going on, while she sleeps, and if she wants to take part, it is now to stay awake !!
So beautiful, with the lovely blue and gold !!
Dorthe, hugs,and xx

This is such a one in a million spread Patty! Beautifully done!! Where in the world do you get all of your postage stamps? That large wooden stamp with the stamps on it I absolutely adore. Who made that – inquiring minds want to know. The veiled lady is quite mystical – now where in the world did you find that!!! Beautiful and creative journal spread!! I think I am “blue” with envy!!

This may be one of my favorites, Patty. The layering is just magical and I love the roughness (if that’s the right world) is such a beautiful contrast with the madonna. And I love that border tape from the roller! Very smart, very clever!

Beautiful pages, Patty. What you create with things others would throw away is always special. I so love that border and how you created it. You have your own magical style that always captures my imagination. I so like that children’s stamp – what a lovely image with the key and how true that sentiment is. This has given me such pleasure on a dark, wet morning. xxx
