  2. Even though I love where I live, my heart has always been in the Southwest. I just cannot get enough of the beautiful scenery with their changing colors. I saw Mr. Magpie holding the T Tuesday symbol immediately. I’ll definitely enjoy looking at more of your photos when I take a decorating break.

    I have missed you, too!

  4. Hey Patty! Merry Christmas kid!!! I have started looking at your flicker pictures – you really know who to set the stage for dreamers like me. We have been to New Mexico several times find in “enchanting”. One thing that is a must is the Taos Pueblo Pow Wow – it is held the 2nd weekend in July every year. But anyway – we have been to the Pow Wow twice now and certainly have enjoyed it. I think we like Taos the best. We have quite a collection of pottery and story tellers. Oh dear – I am rambling.
We love traveling around the US – I want to go to Main and east my weight in Lobsters and long neck clams.
I do look forward to some more of your journal pages but I must say, I love you photos!~!

  10. Oh what beautiful photos! It looks a bit like Spain I must admit. I think the Spanish sounding names must come from Spanish settlers.
I hadn’t heard of Georgia O’Keefe but I have just spent a pleasant 40 minutes looking at her art on the internet! Wonderful! I love it!
Thank you so much for sharing!
We are having really lovely weather here. I’m sitting on the terrace baking in the sun and have had to come in as I can’t see the screen very well!(Indoors it is cold mind! Tonight we will light the fire).
    Thank you for commenting already,
Happy T-day and have a good week,

  13. I know it sounds far fetched, it does as I write it, but I sincerely believe I’ve been past that row of houses in Madrid. If only my photos were digital, instead of being stored in my wet basement (sad, but true story) I might even have proof.

When I saw those “aerial crop circles” I thought of Johanna, and how that photo would make a perfect template for an art quilt. If only I could sew, or had feed dogs I could drop, I might be tempted to try it myself.

I was in awe of those colored bottles, What a great privacy fence that would make.

And of course, I was so glad to see your traveling tea cup put in an appearance, too. I swear it gets more miles than most people!

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos, your traveling tea cup, and memories of the southwest with us for T this Tuesday,

Great shots. Last visit to Santa Fe was over a year ago. We have friends in Ojo Caliente. Just love to soak it up, literally and figuratively. Madrid was a long ago trip, wild little spot. Nice for a horseback ride at sunset. Be a while before we go back, thanks for the views. xox

  26. Thank you for sharing this journey with all of us. I’ve always wanted to visit Santa Fe. Of course I am familiar with Moab and the Colorado regions.
The bird’s eye view, from the plane, always reminds me of what a beautiful planet we live on, and how small we are in comparison. What a wonderful gift we’ve been given.
So, I running late and must move away from your beautiful photos ( I think I’ve been through them a dozen times already….LOL)
Belated T-day wishes my friend, hope you make it home safely. Thanks for the visit and the comment this week.

  27. Hello dear friend,- what a stunning set of collaged fhotos, from a world, totally unknown to me, other than from TV and pictures. It looks so magic all, and those vibrant beautiful colors of turquise and pink, give it such a special feeling of an exotic world, I would love to visit, and “know” . Also it looks as if life there are slowly and pieceful, but I know pictures can tell and make one think of stories not true, lol.
Thank you for your stunning “views” send to me over cyberspace, I`m so happy we have it, Patty.
    Warm hugs from Dorthe
