  2. Talk about jaw dropping gorgeous, I can see why you weren’t prepared for this majestic scenery. This is simply incredible, and the photos the two of you took seem to capture the desolate beauty of the entire area. I can also see it could be a bit overwhelming, because your photos are out of this world.

Thanks for sharing them and taking the traveling tea cup so it could be included in this beauty, too. And as always, thanks for joining T this Tuesday.

  7. Majesty and splendor – such apt descriptions! When I have traveled in that part of the country, my eyes seemed to grow bigger by the minute trying to absorb all the beauty. They struggled to take it all in because the scenery is unbelievably, overwhelmingly breathtaking. Yay, for Hot Tea Day! I’m lifting my mug of tea in your honor this morning.

  34. Overall, when I think of my landscape passions, I am called to greener mountains and lots of water. But I have to say when I went to Utah a few years ago and visited a couple of different parks, Bryce and Zion, I was as entranced with the amazing scenery as you were. It is much the same — simply majestic. I’m not sure I ever felt so “small.” Your photos are terrific, really capturing the beauty of this place.
