so much of what I create comes from scraps of this and that handy on my work table…
it was a nice surprise to come across a piece of a copy of my heart rhythm from an electrocardiogram done years ago…
the lady with her parasol is a TAP transfer on tea bag paper…

You are amazing – what a talent you have for putting this and that together — I shall call this spread “the music of her heart” . I think you should give art journal classes.

I especially love the transfer of the woman. And fun to include your heart check — very clever. Sometimes just picking up something, anything, is the best way to go! Love you chose what was on your table!
Have a very happy weekend, Patty — I suspect we’ll see more beautiful things next week!

Thank you Corrine.
TAP works great with all kinds of fabric.
I did a little project back in 2010 using it on cotton here: https://bitze.wordpress.com/2010/06/13/playing-with-tap/

This is simply incredible, Patty. I was really impressed, maybe because I’ve never even seen an ECG, much less one that could be used in a piece of art. This was incredible. I also loved the TAP on a tea bag. That about blew me away!
Sorry I’m late getting here. I hope my computer woes will stay away for a few weeks anyway. I have a lot to catch up on, that’s for sure.

Had to laugh when I saw you had included your ECG print-out which just happened to still be on your table. These pages are a glorious mix and the middle of the right-hand page is an artwork in itself. It all made my heart beat faster.
