  1. It seems no matter where you stand, you can see the gorgeous Eiffel Tower. I had NO idea Paris had one of those eyes (large ferris wheels). That was a big surprise to me.

So glad to see Sabine. I’ve seen her comments to you here before, but never paid much attention (sad, but true). It was so nice to put a face with a name and even nicer to know I’ll be looking for her comments from now on.

Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful memories with us for T this week, and I am still so in awe of the traveling tea cup.

  10. What a lovely connection to have made and (like so many blog meet-ups I’ve had) how delightful to find it was exactly as you hoped, if not even better! You couldn’t ask for a better guide, I think! Oh, it makes me smile to see these photos, taken about the same time of year as we were there four years ago. It reminds me I must return!

I am thrilled for you that you were able to meet Sabine along with Chris while in Paris. Those are beautiful things she gifted you with. I love that your traveling cup got to see all of France. Only wish I could have fit in it:):) You must still be trying to catch up after being away so long. Finally got my post done for T day- and wishing you a happy T day!

  21. I returned to comment on your comment about the ferris wheel. It would be fun to stand at the base and photograph all the images on the outside of the “buckets,” but that is about as close as I would want to get. No riding for me, either. My grandmother saw a carnival ride fly apart when she was a girl, and having told me about how all the people on the ride were killed, the power of suggestion can sometimes be so strong (as it was in my case), it doesn’t allow me to ride any rides, scary or otherwise.
