  1. Your page is wonderful, and the terror attack in France again is heartbreaking. Our world is so lovely, why do they do such things? Thanks for making this wonderful journal spread for AJJ, enjoy your garden, and we can all just hope and pray for peace. Alles Liebe Patty! Hugs, Valerie

  4. A gorgeous journal spread Patty , beautiful images and a heartfelt sentiment.
I do wonder when all these attacks on people who are going about, in their everyday lives will end. Why? is a question I would like to be answered.
    Have a good weekend

  8. another beautiful post and garden themed journal spread Patty. It was a very weird day for me as Mom and a friend of hers and I s/w my aunt in the south of France early Thurs., then celebrated Bastille Day only to end the night with another tragedy…

  9. Peace in the garden and peace in the world. Two things to strive for. I believe this is a gorgeous piece and the little pressed buttercups are adorable. They certainly drew my eye around the two pages.

I can’t believe the horror that France is going through. To think it happened on Bastille Day was even more horrific. My thoughts are on Nice and France because they have certainly experienced enough loss.

  11. What a good idea to add those dried buttercups. They really do add pops of color. I also love using the German phrase. Makes it more exotic. And it feels very much like fabric-I think its the softness it has. It is a another gorgeous page. Happy start to your weekend. Hugs-erika

  21. It’s too bad more people wouldn’t simply take the time to sit in a garden and forget about doing such horrible things to others. More of them learn to make art and enjoy nature.
