the quickening of time is hard to ignore as we find ourselves at the end of February already…
Mother Nature has wobbled from winter to May like temperatures and back again…
I ended up at a garden center last week on a glorious 78 degree/25.5 Celsius day which was a good 20 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year here in northern Virginia…
a few plants came home with me and I will have to babysit them mostly indoors until planting time arrives in a month or more…
I can’t seem to snap enough photos of this potted Lenten Rose… how do you spell spring fever…
we have eaten a good bit of cake this month celebrating Mr Magpie’s birthday…
still celebrating with a yummy Sunday treat of pear puff pastry tarte OH MY…
wishing everyone over at Elizabeth’s Altered Book Lover a Happy T Day…
Your wonderful post is full to the prim with eyecandy!
Amazing!
Happy T-Day dear♥ liebe♥ Patty!
Best wishes for your Jim!

YUMMY pear tart. I want a piece. We had some warm weather in New Hampshire too. According to my family it is still warm but I am bundled up here in New Mexico. Usually it is the opposite way around. Oh well. Enjoy the spring weather and another piece of the pear tart. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

I think most of us are having a good dose of Spring fever this year. Our weather is doing the same dance out west, a week of mid to high 70s then back down to frost on the roof tops. I have bulbs blooming and sprouts sprouting too……………………..oh I do wish spring would finally stick around.
Tomorrow we get to start a new month……again……already! We have already had our March winds and April showers LOL! But I’m not complaining…..better than the drought condition.
Happy T-day

Belated happy birthday to Mr Magpie! Those cakes looked absolutely yummy. Especially the pear thing. I do like that beautiful quilt.
I have thouroughly enjoyed your post (as usual), with the beautiful photos.
Beautiful helleborus! I used to have them in my garden when we lived in England and this one was always the first to flower. I suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and the flowering helleboris always was a tonic. It meant that longer days were on their way and i would get more light.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

I feel horrible that it has taken me so long to visit. I’m afraid I’m not a very good host this week.
I was delighted to see your photos enlarging again. I especially enjoyed seeing Mr. M.’s birthday cake. Isn’t it wonderful when your window sills look as new and lovely as yours do? That’s the part I miss if I don’t keep up with cleaning every day.
I’m a bit confused about the house you showed that is like mine. Is it a planter? Mine is a bank. I must get it out so we can compare them one of these days. I think mine is from the mid 80s.
I really enjoyed the photo collages this week, and love everything about them. You have such a clever eye for these things. Thanks for sharing your cups and cakes from Mr. M’s birthday with us, as well as those beautiful plants you purchased that will find their way to your garden soon, I’m sure. And thanks for your patience in my comment. At least it’s still Tuesday here.

Oh MY!!! ♥♥♥ What an amazing collection of lovely photos that just scream SPRING and all things beautiful. Those cakes are screaming at me too…wanting to jump right out of the screen and into my watering mouth. Our storms have passed and we finally got that rain we needed so badly. No damage that I can see so all is well. It’s about 20 degrees cooler today and wet so a good day for staying inside. Happy Belated T Day!!!!!

Your page is Spring Fever. Love all the flowers. The cakes look delicious. What struck me most are the lemons in the blue dish (well, it looks blue to me) offset by the blue mat. Lemon yellow and dark blue is one of my favorite color combos. The view from your window is just lovely, and I really like your string of blue birds. Happy Belated T Day and Happy March

Hello Patty, your photos are divine. They would make stunning greeting cards. I’ve been looking for a nice one for a friend today and managed to find one that was OK, but nothing like yours would be. The clock! The Helleborus! The patchwork cloth! (swoon). Hope all is well and you are still enjoying cake.
