being out and about recently as noted in my earlier Botticelli post I was inspired by an image of Venus…
using some rubber stamps I got busy layering my pages with lots of paint… gesso… and stamping on tissue paper as well as directly on the page… the stamp on the lower right ended up completely buried but my new cityscape stamp from StampDiva was brand new (a great company with a great stamp selection and very good delivery)…
a snippet of my favorite flimmersterne made a nice halo…

I love it. The blue of the background is perfect for the nice Venus and also the city stamp looks great to it. Again a very nice composition.

Lovely composition! I’ve never heard anyone use the expression a “hitch in my get along” except my Dad and then me from him. Except I say “catch in my get a long” Now I wonder which word my Dad actually used. Anyway, it was fun to read your words!!

If you were looking for divine then I think you have captured it on your pages today! Your mojo has entered the building (lol!), all you needed was Bottecelli to inspire you and oh my, the page you created is so beautiful and ethereal! Venus is magnificent in all her beauty and the setting you have given her is simply divine. That’s a lovely blue (my favourite) and the stamped layers create such an opulent setting too 🙂 .
