Shanghai Beauty Button Doll

More fun with button dollz!

For this one I added some tiny white beads to each button. The round bead at the very end is fuzzy, something new in my bead collection. I’ve been waiting to use one!

Can’t help but notice, that there seem to be a fair number of quotes to console us for aging….hmmm

Just had to make a button doll using a boys image.

It was fun giving him moth wings.

These are so much fun, with endless possibilities!

My button collection is getting sorted in the process. Wow, I have a lot of buttons! It’s wonderful to actually USE some of them!

I back the wings and image with heavy cardstock. I like running the wire through the buttons twice to give it a little more stability.

Some people use them on ATCs or greeting cards; they would make wonderful dangles too.

WS: Button Dollz

Such a wonderful Wednesday Stamper Challenge! This is something I’ve been meaning to try. The hardest part was choosing just one idea to begin with.

For my Sunshine Button Fairy, I used my Magenta face stamp along with a crushed silk black eyed susan; a golden flimmersterne made the perfect finish.

What a lot of fun getting to rummage through my button collection! It’s a lovely use of them.

My Sunshine Button Fairy just happens to fit the Theme Thursday “Celestial” theme too, so I’m running with it!

I’ve already created my second button doll; I think I feel another coming on!
