… ce que vous voulez

“whatever you want” is the theme over at Dans ma maison

it has been way too long since I played on their challenge blog and I have missed it

Dans ma maison il y a … ce que vous voulez

some time ago the lovely Linda of Blue Eyed Girl sent me a wooden house shape that her husband had cut … I have been saving it for a special occasion and used it for the center of my three houses … they are not connected

I got excited and took a midnight photo here … I will try again in daylight … but wanted to get this posted for now

Mr Magpie cut the two smaller houses for me out of wood intended for stakes

the tallest peak measures not quite 3 inches tall (7,62 cm)

I used images from Altered Bits and Last Door Down the Hall

here is a photo taken out on our back porch in morning light … this one with a bit of glare … my block pics are very wabi sabi 😉

here are some other mini wooden chunkies I made last March … where does the time go … I had every intention of making more of these

  12. I’ve always enjoyed the way you find new supports for your art. Of course, that included to the fact that you’re a master of the collage, it’s a win-win situation!

I can draw and stuff, but I can’t make a collage to save my life, lol ;p

  17. So subtle roams your creative mind. I first looked at this creation and on first glance thought it was nicely done, wonderful clip art, nice composition for the three houses. AND then I did the close-up and was blown out of the water (so to speak) on this one, Patty. Romeo and Juliet? Priceless. Swans, and boats, and beautiful striking individuals, and then the kicker on the third house….. Yup, Romeo and Juliet. So cool beyond belief – Boat man (Romeo) is so HOT. Meow! hugs

  20. Patty do you sleep? :O) I love the story you have narrated in images and yes the images are very wabi-sabi. I am just getting back to reading the peaceful wabi-sabi inspirations once again since my own body is experiencing its own evolution. Have a great weekend! I am coming back! 22. Oh, Patty, these are stunning in their simplicity! I loved that you linked to the meaning of Wabi-Sabi – I’ve never heard the term before and thoroughly enjoyed reading about it. I must say, I adore the swan – they have a very special significance in my life. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Terri xoxo
