Gothic Arches

This weeks Gothic Arch Challenge is “Using Trash”. The theme was chosen by Klarrtje, a fun challenge.

We have always recycled, now more than ever with an altered art and mixed media life.  We give lots of things a second look before tossing them out.

My arch has a gold chocolate wrapper dome. The background is the inside of a bank envelope that I colored and stamped on. The Premium/Authentic oval at the top is from a bag of pasta.

There is a little gold strip at the bottom that says feine Qualitat (fine quality in German). It was from a cordial as is the red metal cap on the right; which was hammered and snipped to look like an official seal by my hubbie.

The image is a gel medium transfer on muslin.

I haven’t used a flimmersterne in a while. They are what is left after you eat the chocolate circles in the center of the flimmer ornament.
