Time stood still…

some new to me gold square paper helped inspire these gesso journal pages for Art Journal Journey’s TIME challenge along with a scrap of a Gustav Klimt napkin (my other AJJ entries this month are #30 & # 57)…

  14. Love the gold. And rub ons are a favorite. They disappeared for awhile…. but seem to have come back to the stores! Time flies when you are having fun. Otherwise it drags. You should do a book on all those time sayings!!!

  15. Klimt’s paintings are a favorite of mine, and your take on this is wonderful. I agree that time stands still when you are first in love.

The layers you created make this an exceptional piece. Of course, the gold and the rub-ons add to the overall artiness of the spread. Lovely on all counts.

  28. Time is certainly passing by far too quickly. I have a conspiracy theory that someone, somewhere, is meddling with time and speeding it up!!!!!
I can definitely see the influence of Klimt in your beautiful pages. The gold against the Gesso is a gorgeous combination.

  31. I was just reading a Cloth Paper Scissors article on gold (she was using leaf) and then thinking about your thyme and thinking I need to dig out my gold and use it a bit more. It’s so pretty, especially with the black and white and it looks great with all the elements of this layout. You are the layer queen!
