thanks to the challenge of DOORS over at MiFoC I made time to look back at some photos we took on a trip in February of 2012…
I had wanted to share these photos with you back then…
for all of you who enjoy doors as much as I do…
I think I got carried away with my Stone Angel Sunday Freebies and ran out of steam…
because of the hilly streets of Old San Juan some of the photos look slanted…
each of these photos are for you to DOWNLOAD for FREE and use in your art if you wish…
the doorway above was perfect for some art journal pages I created here…
~♥~ hope you enjoy this sampling ~♥~
A fabulous collection Patty. Who would think that doors come in such amazing variety.

I love door ways. I’ll have to remember to add something door-related to next year’s scavenger hunt list!

Thank you my friendfor sharing,.what wonderful and so different doors you have met. I would love to touch many of them and feel the history behind. The look from the open doors to the blue building looks so beautiful.
Happy sunday dear Patty. Hugs!!!

these doors are magnificent! My son was able to travel to that area few years ago and really enjoyed his trip. The architecture is amazing!

I love the one that you took out of your own door of the ones facing! Sort of a double-take on the theme…
And the somewhat cavernous door with the rounded top is of course fantastic.

Wow! This is just the most amazing collection of beautiful, characterful doors ever! My daughter loves to photograph doors. I think you would love some of her shoots where doors provide the background. Doors, peeling paint, gardens and fairy lights – these are some of my favourite things, which you have reminded me of lately, Patty! Life is brighter because of you! Julie Ann xxx

What is it about doors (and windows) that is so intriguing? Maybe the possibility of what lies within. Wonderful shots here!

First, I must apologize for being so late visiting. I am supposed to be on hiatus, yet keep getting sucked into more and more computer time, possibly because of my slow computer and ISP.
Your lovely doors are truly eye candy this morning. You find such beauty behind that camera lens. Although I’ve always considered myself a “good” photographer (discounting the time I had a digital camera with absolutely no settings), your compositions are simply beyond compare. You make me believe I was there with you, something only a true photographic genius can accomplish. And thanks for allowing us to use these doors, too.
